Chafong Lee Foundation
Cultural Arts Grant
The CFLF Hmong Cultural Arts Grant program provides grants to art forms that showcase the cultural life of the Hmong people, such as common heritage, language, religion, occupation, or region.
These expressions are deeply rooted in and reflective of a community’s shared standards of beauty, values, or life experiences. Traditional arts are often passed on from one generation to the next, or from one community member to another, and express collective wisdom, rather than only a unique personal aesthetic.
Each team or group must be made up of at least 75% Hmong. If this is an individual application, said person must be of Hmong decent.
A gentle reminder to our community that AI generated art is frowned upon in the art community as it generates your prompt by stealing other artists work and morphing the art to create what was requested. The Chafong Lee Foundation will not accept artificial intelligence art as an artistic outlet.
Application open June 1st, 2025
Application closes August 31st, 2025 @ 11:59 PM PST
Applicants will be notified of grant awards by mid September 2025
